English through Film & Literature

We read contemporary American literature sharing our feelings, opinions and understanding of the novels. This course will begin again in September 2015.

You will interact with others, enhancing your reading, speaking and listening skills. Vocabulary development is key.  We will read for pleasure, as well as understanding. The class is for high-intermediate to advanced learners of English. We will speak only in English to ensure your progress.

Instructor: Jacqueline Garçon has been teaching & teacher training English & French in France and the United States for many years. She has given workshops and published on using literature & film in language learning.  This Film & Literature class has existed for more than 12 years to introduce American writers for your pleasure , discovery and to improve your English.
